Last Sunday, Korean Adoptees in Belgium (KAB) had the pleasure of bringing its entire community together at the Embassy of South Korea in Brussels, a place of deep symbolic meaning for our history and roots. It was a day filled with connection, feelings of belonging, and shared experiences.
Highlights of Together Day: a screening of the moving film Approved for Adoption by director Jung followed by a Q&A session, a book signing together with his wife Laëtitia Marty, and a cozy gathering over Korean food.
Thank you to all the attendees who made this event unforgettable!
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to:
All the volunteers, as well as our active members, whose energy, precious time, and unwavering dedication keeps our association alive every day and made this day possible;
Jung-sik Jun and his family, as well as his spouse Laëtitia Marty, for their generosity in sharing such personal stories and experiences;
Mrs. Seo Binh (Consul General) and Mrs. Mi Sun (Vice-Consul) for their warm welcome, hospitality and presence.
We shared moments of remarkable depth and connection, and we look forward to building many more together with you!
